Did you know that Salsa is originated from Eastern Cuba? The Salsa we listen to nowadays is said to be born in New York but in reality, it comes from Cuba. It is also said that its origins go way back in time, to the sounds and the dances that were brought to America with the slaves from Africa. These sounds and dances were mixed through the years with several other Latin dances like the Danzón of the French and Haitian immigrants, the Són of Cubans and the Spanish Flamenco!
